If you haven’t gotten a jump on week 3’s Fourteen in ’14 purge, this next challenge is bound to be of help!
Piles… piles… piles…. they’re kind of everywhere, aren’t they? A stack of paper here. A stack of magazines there. Some paperwork we meant to file but didn’t. Some materials from a project we did, leftover. The tools we set aside but didn’t put away last time we used them. I bet if you looked around, you’d find a few, leering at you, hiding treasure and scaring you away. A pile is a physical reminder that you’re just not getting to things you think you should get to, or said you would get to. They mock you, and they seem to grow overnight sometimes.
Well, today, we’re going to attack one of them, and completely deal with them, from top to bottom. The goal is to get rid of what you don’t need (I recently went through a pile of coupons, and enough were either expired or something I didn’t *really* think I’d buy after all, and the pile went down about 90%!) and to deal with/address the items that need addressing, such that the pile completely disappears.
So, today, I want you to find a pile and obliterate it! And… bonus points for finding more than one and destroying another one, too!
.
Oh geez Kathy, were you looking at my office when you wrote this? UGH. I’ll obliterate a pile today 😉
